Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy is a way to provide healing from injury, trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, physical ailments and other health conditions such as heart disease and cancer recovery. Yoga therapy can also be for someone who has no particular health concern other than wanting improved physical conditioning.
Sound of Soul Yoga therapy clients come from all walks of life. They may be recovering from injuries or illness or have chronic health issues, or just want to feel better while aging gracefully.

As your specially trained yoga therapist, I will teach you self-awareness so you can make the necessary changes for a better and healthier life. What matters the most is our ability to work together to help you reach your goals. Through gentle physical movement, breathing, visualization, meditation, and deep relaxation you are an active participant in your healing.
The experience I gained as a nurse gives me valuable insight into the human dynamics of healing. Many individuals need help identifying what they can and need to do to take an active part in the healing process.
My knowledge of anatomy and physiology and the healing process allows me to help people recognize their ability to help themselves get well. My approach is to teach with patience, kindness, and compassion. Keeping in mind what is and moving forward to what can be with realistic goals of healing set by the client. These goals can be met with a variety of yoga techniques; physical poses, breathing techniques, meditation, visualization, and deep relaxation to improve wellness and promote healthier living and a better quality of life.
Yoga therapy sessions can be done in the privacy of your home or at the studio.
